For beginners who are new to the line, they will be in trouble when they encounter poor cutting quality. I don’t know how to adjust them in the face of numerous parameters. The following is a brief introduction to the problems and solutions encountered.
The parameters affecting the cutting quality are: cutting height, cutting nozzle model, focus position, cutting power, cutting frequency, cutting duty ratio, cutting pressure and cutting speed. Hardware conditions include: protective lens, gas purity, sheet quality, focusing mirror and collimating mirror.
In the case of poor cutting quality, it is recommended to conduct a general inspection first. The main inspection contents and order of the general inspection are:
1 Cutting height (the actual cutting height is recommended to be between 0.8 and 1.2mm). If the actual cutting height is not accurate, calibration is required.
2 Cut the nozzle to check whether the nozzle type and size are wrong. If it is correct to check if the cutting nozzle is damaged, the roundness is normal.
3 Optical center is recommended to use a cutting torch with a diameter of 1.0 for optical inspection. When checking the optical center, the focus is preferably between -1 and 1. The light spot thus produced is small and easy to observe.
4 Protective lens Check whether the protective lens is clean and requires no oil and no slag. Sometimes the lens is fogged because of the weather or the air is too cold.
5 The focus check focus is set correctly. If it is an auto-focusing cutting head, be sure to check if the focus is correct with your mobile app.
6 modify the cutting parameters
After the above five items are checked and there are no problems, the parameters are modified according to the phenomenon.
How to adjust the parameters according to the phenomenon, the following briefly describes the state and solutions encountered when cutting stainless steel and carbon steel.
For example, stainless steel slag has a variety of types of slag. For example, only the corner slag can be considered to round the corner first, and the parameters can reduce the focus and increase the pressure.
If the overall dregs are hung, it is necessary to reduce the focus, increase the air pressure, and increase the cutting tip, but the focus is too low or the air pressure is too large, resulting in stratification and rough surface. If the granular soft residue is hung as a whole, the cutting speed or the cutting power can be appropriately increased.
Cutting stainless steel may also encounter: the end of the cutting end of the slag, you can check whether the gas supply gas flow can not keep up.
Cutting carbon steel generally encounters problems such as insufficient thin section of the thin plate and rough section of the thick plate.
In general, a 1000W laser can cut light of no more than 4mm carbon steel, 2000W is 6mm, 3000W is 8mm.
Want to cut the section of the light first, the surface of the plate is rust-free, lacquer-free and oxide-free, and the oxygen purity is higher than at least 99.5%. The cutting should pay attention to: double-cutting double layer 1.0 or 1.2, cutting speed It needs to be more than 2m/min, and the cutting pressure should not be too large.
If you want the quality of the thick plate cutting section, you must first ensure the purity of the plate and gas. Secondly, the cutting nozzle is selected. The larger the hole diameter, the better the quality of the section, but the taper of the section will be larger.
